Vetter Launches New Filling Line

Vetter’s new filling line at its Ravensburg Vetter South facility is now fully validated and ready for cGMP filling following a successful media-fill completion. The line’s capacity ranges from mid- to large-volume batch sizes, with a maximum filling speed of 800 pre-sterilized syringes per minute. The line currently fills 1ml standard-format syringes, and the company plans for additional formats in the near and long term. The facility features novel technologies aimed at enhancing safety and maximizing API yield, and it was designed to exceed cGMP requirements.
